ye but do you realize that spanish is a language derived from latin, while dutch isn’t, so seems hardly believable to think that spanish didn’t use a latin word til fighting dutch, the language of which has nothing to do with latin. Have a nice day you too 😉

not really, gratis comes from the latin word gratia, even though in the past also meant gratitude

actually it is the dutch word for free, later in the 1800 (if i’m correct i don’t know the correct year) the spanish took it over in their war with the dutch
