The annual program of the PSN every summer, the PlayStation PLAY has now returned with four amazing video games for you to play. The program showcases a lineup of diverse games that will surely be enjoyed by a lot of gamers around the world. It will start on July 24, 2012.
Members of the Playstation Plus will enjoy discounts of up to 20 percent for every title but for limited time only. Cash vouchers will be available for you to redeem on PSN as a bonus for buying any two of the titles included in the PSN PLLAY.
You can pre-order each titles included in the PSN PLAY before they actually hit the store. If you buy PSN PLAY title during the period, you will get the PS3 XBM of the title aside from the 20 percent discount. Here are the four video games that are included in the PSN PLAY this 2012.
The Expendables II Videogame
This video game is the leader of the pack and will be exclusively launched first on PSN on July 31 for the PS3 platform. The Expendables is the most explosive cooperative action title to come to PSN and is based on The Expendables movie franchise, leading you to the forthcoming movie of the same title. The story starts when four of the Expendables are hired for the rescue of a Chinese billionaire who was kidnapped. This game will feature four-player cooperative story, vehicular combat and challenge modes. You can pre-order this game for 14.99 dollars and 11.99 dollars for PSN PLUS members.
Sound Shapes
This video game will release the musician inside you as you will actually make music in Sound shapes. The release date of this video game is on August 7, 2012 for the PS Vita and PS3 platforms. The unique campaign in this game fuses artwork and music into the classic 2D platform featuring the works of Pixeljam, Superbrothers, Capy and others. Papo & Yo
This PSN exclusive independent game is about the story of Quico and Monster. Papo & Yo will be launched on August 14 for the PS3 platform. Gameplay is set in a world which is inspired by the favelas of the South American region. The game will entice you to solve puzzles and explore the area as Quico, while you prevent Monster from ingesting poisonous frogs that throw him in uncontrollable rage. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
This video game is among the most celebrated shooter in the first person genre. It will be available on the store on August 21 for the PS3 platform. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive pits teams of terrorists against counter-terrorists forces, featuring hostage rescue and bomb disposal.
