This was hands down my favorite game on the TurboGrafx. Just a fun shooter, that gets insanely difficult at the end.

Lol… the language used has nothing to do with it, if anything games got better over time due to C++ and scripts.
Companies these days often make consoles that are not very different from each other (like the 360’s cpu which is a copy of the Ps3 cell processor technology)
That is what promotes cross-platform games, but first party titles are still exclusive today and even back in the day EA for example would always release games cross-platform
