I’m back home in Toronto! So whenever I capture some gameplay, the audio and video are kinda out of sync. this is normal for video capture on a laptop since I’m lacking the memory. I tried to resync the audio but after about 7 attempts, this is the best I could do. You can’t kara cancel on the second frame (or an even later one) of Akuma’s f.mp, the extra range you got comes only from walking forward.
Also, iirc, TheShend uploaded already a tutorial on Urien’s TTH bnb, which covers doing it using partitioning rather than just buffering, which is in this certain combo way easier, since you have more range on the frames for your inputs.
Okay, I have the most obvious: How do you train your reaction time to parry? I’ve noticed 3 scenarios where you want to parry; when they jump in, when you do a block string and stand neutral expecting them to throw out a poke or whatever, or Option Select AKA SGGK.
Also dont forget his sa3 can go through fireballs, so a player with good reaction then here goes something else. Comparing his sa1 to sa3 id much rather have his sa1 though, the only reason why id pick sa3 is because its easier to link and has way more priority but Id rather be able to use more ex and still have a super on stock then having to sacrifice having ex to built up seans 1 bar sa3.

The only thing I disagree with is when you say his sa2 is not a good anti air. But the thing is that it gives a much greater treat as an anti air that his other supers, and doesnt mean that the player should do sa2 naked all the time i mean they can do something to break the rhythm. Also it sets up for really good ambiguous crossup tricks as in kens after his sa3 in mid screen ( if you take a look at Kurodas Sean dvd ).cant really play fottsies with it as since you gotta be reallyclose to hit it
No not saying this makes him a better character at all, it just means to me that when I look at all his supers, it’s a lot harder to discard any of them as being useless, yet you can do that with most other characters, all other chars have at least one super that is never used or is to useless compared to their other supers. I think everything one of sean supers has or doesn’t have you can find in his other super arts.
