    But that wasn’t the only scene were trained soldiers were killed, even when they were alone. And in a large group of soldiers they could’ve easily fought against those pesky necromorphs.

    well of course he did, logically a predator would go for the larger group, leaving the one person alone and having only one going after him. hell, two giant plotholes the forgot to even mention. how can necromorphs even think without a hive mind (which they retconned in ds3 and somehow now you transform into a necromorph just by being in proximity to the markers signals. what happened to the probe bats?)

    How was Dead Space 1 even that immersive. While I’m defending jump scares right now, I don’t find it immersive because of the first few minutes of the game. Like 5 trained soldiers instantly die in the beginning against the necromorphs, yet Isaac Clarke, AN ENGINEER, just walks through it all.

    Dead Space 1? no, because it was immersive, now there’s a horde of necromorghs in almost every room fighting for screentime

    It didn’t even happen that often in Dead Space.
