Sony Computer Entertainment has released its PS3 Firmware 4.20 last Tuesday, June 26, 2012. The PlayStation 3 system software update will provide a lot of fixes as well as new functions when it comes to the video gaming platform. The new features to be included in the Firmware are the following: a stereo headset that is wireless and with sidetone functionality, provides its users with setting control when it comes to the time until it turns itself off automatically as well as a multiple save system that allows you to save lots of save items or data.

Wireless Stereo Headset

If you allowed System Auto-Off in the PS3 Firmware prior to this new version, the time you have selected will be applicable for both the Photo/Music/TV/Video and for the Other Features/Game.
The default time settings are After Four Hours for the Photo/Music/TV/Video and After One Hour for the Other Features/Game.
Save Game Selection
Under Games go to Save Data Utility (PS3TM). Once you have already found it, you will now be able to choose the Multiple Save Data Items where you can either copy or delete these data as a group.
- You are not allowed to use Copy Multiple system to choose data or information which is copy-protected.
- Some of the save data or information are not available to be copied.
- On the screen display’s upper right hand corner, you can find some items such as the amount of the selected data items saved, total data items saved as well as the total size of the files of the data items saved and selected.
