I love DOOM, but this version just doesn’t appeal to me. To me the PC version is still the best and I compare all the other versions to it. Theres simply no legitimate way to play this game yet except for kb/m or 2 analog sticks. PC version still reigns supreme in my book

Game looks and sounds great on the iphone. Only thing is, the controls take a little bit getting used to, but once you get the hang of it you won’t be able to put the game down. Oh, and this version of DOOM for the iphone is based off of the PRboom engine. You can do console commands for cheats and select any level you want, something that the xbox 360 arcade version doesn’t have.

Game technology for phones sure is coming a long away. I was thinking about getting this one, for now I bought DOOM RPG II, because I really wanted to play the first one, but they didn’t have it. So I opted for the second one. I bought Wolfenstein RPG as well, both are really fun.

Not a great fan of tilt for controlling movement in FPS tbh. Ofc can be different from person to person.
