The Playstation Eye might indeed be used to do a 2D body scan – this has to be done all in software then as the Eye features nothing like body tracking – but to say that this would be more accurate than Kinect is quite a stretch. The PS3 can only 3D-track the lighted orb on the Move controller.

PS Cam tracks your body too, but not on 3D, just on 2D, and thats why you have to use move controller, to get 3d tracking, so PS3 can track 3D. Actually, it´s more accurate than kinect.

The fitness expert says that the Playstation Eye camera scans your body, but this is incorrect. It only scans the lit sphere on the Playstation Move controller. Xbox Kinect does indeed do a full body scan.
But this is no full body tracking!
