The next-generation consoles are now coming and lots of gamers are hopeful in the coming days. New consoles mean new IPS and new games. At least it would mean new titles for sure. Talking about the PS3 and Xbox 360, there are lots of franchises that these consoles have. Below are five game franchises that should not be included in the next-generation consoles to make space for new characters and ideas.

Halo

This video game will surely make it to the next-gen consoles. However, lots of gamers don’t want it to be included. One reason is that Master Chief seemed invincible and hard to kill making it a frustrating game sometimes. Do gamers really need to shoot more aliens? Lots of gamers are into sci-fi video games, but they had enough of this game.

Call of Duty

Gamers have played the CoD every time a title is released from the franchise since 2006. Since then, they have been killing lot of soldiers and it seems to be boring doing the same thing every time they get their hands on their consoles. How many wars do they have stopped and prevented?

This video game seemed to be better with the single-player mode compared to its multiplayer component. They consider Call of Duty as the Madden counterpart and they are sick of playing the game.

Pokémon

Maybe you are one of those gamers who enjoyed this video game when they are younger. Before, you only have one choice for a monster which is Pikachu, but now lots of them have surfaced. This game has gotten too big and it is now time to retire this from the next-generation video game consoles and make different games.

Uncharted

Elena and Nathan Drake are now married. She needs to keep Nathan at home by cracking the whip. This behavior of the wife is normal especially when they are trying to have a family of their own, have children running around the house which provides joy to both of them.

Moreover, there is no way that treasure hunting then getting everything you possess be stolen and then getting them back pays well. This video game franchise should be left alone in the desert to be buried where no individual can ever find it.

Assassin’s Creed

This is not really a shocker to be included in the video game franchise that should not be included in the next-gen consoles. Gamers are ready to bid their goodbyes to this game due to the doings of Ubisoft with Watch Dog. As a video game series, it has made lots of money, but the annual release of Assassin’s Creed has made lots of people around the world to get tired of it. Though you may actually love this video game, how long will you stay that way? Once you get tired of it, you can easily put it into the shelf and forgot it exists.

Lots of gamers have actually played video game sequels to their enjoyment. But these video games need to rest now and for players to move on.
