I’ve covered this before, but it has been a while since I’ve responded to this kind of point 🙂 While I agree that the video-out represents a game’s visuals with better clarity, we ultimately decided to stick with this format because it’s important to see how the game controls affect the gameplay. This is mostly a fault of the touch-control system – if it were physical controls there’d be less of a need to show them directly 🙂

I find myself enjoying AppSpy’s iPhone game coverage.
It would be really nice if you guys got some tech so you wouldn’t need to actually record the device itself — y’know, a video-out system like they do in this game’s developer trailer, or even what The Big App Show uses. While it’s nice to see it from a first-person perspective of a guy using his iPhone, a little less obscured view would pay more tribute to the actual software.

My friend graphics is really a minor part of gaming. And 20 years ago we had the 8-bit NES forget about 3D. And 10 we had the PS1…No this is not Ps1 graphics…But that’s not my point. This game is not about graphics…Its the experience and the gameplay

@Arglactable Yeah and a person can have fun playing with a turd imaging that it’s chocolate even though it’s not. But it doesn’t matter what it looks like…right?
