So, after countless hours of work I have finally finished my 2nd arcade cabinet which I have decided to name “Rainy Days” (after all, it’s on rainy days you want to stay inside and play arcade games, right?). 🙂 This is a custom 2-player arcade/MAME cabinet with 7 buttons for each player, an arcade spinner, a 3″ arcade trackball and a dedicated 4-way joystick for classic games like Donkey Kong, Frogger etc. The cabinet features a 27″ Wells Gardner D9800 arcade monitor and an ArcadeVGA2 graphics card for authentic retro gaming. The complete worklog (with tons of pictures) can be viewed here: www.arcadeforum.com — Your comments will be appreciated a lot. Thanks for watching! 🙂 — Background music used in this video: Mongo Erectus – Commando (Kill all hippies version) – (from remix.kwed.org) Moonove – Thanatos – (from remix.kwed.org)
really awesome cab(and music!)
but why you decided to bring a real arcade monitor?we europeans have rgb scart tvs which can do the trick(soft15khz+vga to scart cable)
didnt you know that?
also for the 4way joystick in the centre you should change its handle to balltop to be more original
no offence,I really like your cab anyway 🙂
Well done.
(LOOK AT MY COMMENT) ok i have a question, can u play more games then just those and u can put any game u want
way to steal games you thief people worked hard to make those games and all you do is download them off the internet
I`m sure you spent a ton of cash and time but this is trully inspiryng!
I would have went with a lcd screen and it would be it! You however went for a real cade monitor and bought that ripp off of a graphics card!
I take my hat out for you sir! You`re one commited person:)!
