NC* Ninja Gaiden Sigma (PS3) Review

admin November 21, 2012 18

My pronunciation is generally correct. My accent would probably sound faulty to a native Japanese speaker, but Gaiden really is pronounced Guy-den with two syllables. It’s Gai (like Gai-sensei for all your Naruto fans, or rhyming with hai which means yes.) and then den (rhyming with sen in sensei, or to use an English word to rhyme with, hen). Ninja Gaiden Sigma is arguably the supreme version of Ninja Gaiden, originally released on Xbox as Ninja Gaiden and then Ninja Gaiden Black. The entire series is vaguely based off the original Ninja Gaiden which was released in arcades and on the NES. Welcome new subscribers from ScrewAttack! I’ll try to review something current and relevant next time 🙂 DEVELOPER: Team Ninja RELEASE DATE — PUBLISHER JP 06.14.07 — Tecmo US 07.03.07 — Tecmo EU 07.06.07 — Eidos Interactive AU 07.13.07 — Eidos Interactive

Eh, you seem to be forgetting that Devil May Cry was around before Ninja Guy Dan.

I fail to see the adventure in this game. I mean you travel to different places but then again you do that in all of your typical shooters and many of those aren’t considered adventure titles. Plus it’s not like you’re solving puzzles or anything and your path through the game is completely linear
