They mean all internal doors. Clicking on the ‘open all doors’ opens all doors minus the airlock doors. Double-clicking the button opens all doors including airlock.

This particular ship does have medbot dispersal unit so if the medbay is powered, they heal at half medbay speed anywhere on the ship on this vessel. Useful because as you get attacked, your crew takes damage if the shot hits their room..
