There is of course a difference between us there. I want that trophy but I want to be in a game with talented players who can challenge me & together we can play to produce the best game possible. I hope you do decide to put a vid response to this together, I think it could be valid for other players to see this & I doubt many will read these comments.

Now that’s a great attitude I can fully get with, improving yourself in every way possible. That’s how I try to approach playing but most people don’t. They do not push themselves and that’s really what I’m talking about, putting the players in a situation (the game) where they have to keep trying to make themselves better. If you work towards making them better, you’ve done them a great servas and the hobby as a whole a great servas by having better qualified members.

Fair point. To clarify, I recognize a difference between “self-motivation” (competing with myself) and competing with the other players in what I have always identified as a collaborative, cooperative activity such as role playing. Even if I’m not out for “the trophy”, it only makes sense that I want to improve myself in every way possible.
