    hmm I’m not sure. I have both fraps and roxio and there are some minuses with the roxio recorder. You cannot record any live commentary you need to add voice in the editor and second all games are not supported for the recorder such as minecraft and you won’t be able to record in minecraft at all.

    hmm thanks for the info i don’t know if it’s worth it to switch over or get a hard drive and continue with fraps what would you suggest

    The Roxio video editor also works great if you record with fraps and then later on compress the file with the Video editing program. I compressed a 15GB file recorded with fraps and compressed the file and ended up with 300MB file size with just a small loss of quality

    I recorded around 1 minute of Skyrim on ultra with around 30 NPC on the screen. And file size for that came around 320MB so it’s less then half the size from fraps. And after I compressed it with the video editing program that is included. I compressed to 1080p and that files size where around 64MB so it’s a huge diffrence. Altough quality is a little better when the recording in uncompressed

    thanks for the answer i would also like to know if how big exactly with fraps i get about 700mb a minute how about with roxio
