@mbiker7 the car wax maybe, BUT NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER (Did I mention NEVER) use the dvd lens cleaning disk?
You have to open the console and disk drive, clean the lens with q-tip and rubbing alcohol.

I USED A CAR WAX ON THE DISC. LIGHTLY RUB AND REMOVE THE PASTE LET IT DRY FIRST. IT WORKED FOR ME EVER SINCE BUT ALSO USE A LASER LENS CLEANING DISC.

@jaydoubleuem Tough one there, if its a relatively new slim, the likelihood of the laser being dirty is not likely. I would clean the disk with a window cleaner, really rub it well with a microfiber towel, there may be something on a section of the disk, it could be very small and interfering with the laser being able to read it. it may even be a fingerprint…let me know…but I would guess its more likely the disk than the console.

@Scienceoverreligion I would say to open the disk drive and clean the dvd lens with rubbing alcohol. if that doesn’t clear things up i would remove the magnet from the disk drive lid, try the game without the lid, placing the game, then magnet on and starting the machine. one of those two suggestions should get you playing. let me know how it goes, good luck!
